MCC blanks Alfred State
ALFRED, NY - The MCC men's soccer team came up with a 5-0 road victory over Alfred State Wednesday afternoon.
The 20th-ranked Tribunes moved to 11-3-1 with the victory. MCC hosts Delaware Tech at 1 p.m. Saturday on John L. DiMarco Field.
Seamus Sharkey (Newtown, Ireland/St. Eunans) scored two goals for Monroe. Cody Winter (North Rose, NY/North Rose-Wolcott) chipped in with a goal and an assist.
Taylor Baach (Buffalo, NY/Canisius) and Steven Mounnarat (Penfield, NY/Penfield) also scored for the Tribunes.
Sam Torrelli (Akron, NY/Akron) made two saves for the shutout.
