Monroe season ends with loss in regional final (May 6, 2012)

The Mercyhurst NE Saints scored three times in the first inning and three more in the fourth on its way to an 8-4 win in the Region III championship Sunday. Story by Paul Casey Gotham.

The MCC baseball team swept three games from host CCBC-Dundalk over the weekend.

Tribunes walk off with win (March 22, 2012)

Frank Poerio hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth to give MCC a 14-13 victory over Finger Lakes CC Thursday.

The Monroe Community College baseball program has won more than 1,300 games in over 40 years of existence.  The Tribunes have captured 22 regional championships (including 2011), seven District championships, and have made seven NJCAA World Series appearances.

MCC has had over 60 All-Americans and many players have been drafted by Major League teams, including Greg Keagle, who pitched for the Detroit Tigers, and Tim Redding, who has pitched for four Major League teams.
