Head Coach:

John Keogh (first season)

E-Mail Coach Keogh

Coach Keogh begins his first season as head coach of the Monroe Community College men's lacrosse program.  He succeeds Rocky Delfino, who spent nine years at MCC before taking the same position at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Keogh brings extensive playing and coaching experience to a Tribune program that has reached the Region III semifinals the past seven seasons.  He was the head coach at NCAA Division II University of New Haven (West Haven, Conn.) from 2000-2002 and was an assistant coach at Webster Thomas High School in 2003.  He then moved west and was the head coach at Kapolei High School in Hawaii from 2004 until 2011.

In addition to his coaching duties, he was also the Hawaii Lacrosse Chapter Co-President from 2009-2011.

A Fairport, NY native, Keogh graduated from Fairport High School in 1992, where he was an All-County lacrosse player in 1991 and 1992.  He was also captain of the football team and was an All-County running back and linebacker, helping the Red Raiders to a 1991 New York State championship.

Keogh continued his lacrosse career at Ithaca College, playing for coach Jeff Long from 1993-1996.  He also played in the Hawaii Lacrosse Club for the past decade.

Keogh earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Ithaca in 1996, and his Master's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of New Haven in 2002.
