Work Study
Every semester, the MCC Veteran's service office employs a number of work study students to assist with administering our VA educational benefits program. Our workers earn a tax-free minimum wage while participating in this program and may work a maximum of 25 hours per week during each semester that they are enrolled for at least 9-11 credits (equates to ¾ time status for certification). Work studies have traditionally assisted students with the certification process, have managed student files, and have answered general questions about the benefits program. Please note that work study benefits do not affect the amount of student aid or VA educational benefits received.
