How do I apply for EOP?

All applicants should complete the MCC Application on-line and check the appropriate box to indicate your interest in EOP.  This will begin the process for program consideration.  Academic eligibility is determined by the campus and is based on the applicant's high school GPA, standardized test scores (SAT, ACT) and the college's placement test scores.  First-time college students must meet both academic and income guidelines. Priority is given to applicants from historically disadvantaged backgrounds.

If you are academically eligible for EOP and have been accepted to MCC, you will receive an EOP Supplemental Application for Admission Form along with an invitation to attend an EOP Informational Session.  In some instances, a personal interview may also be required.  If you want to be an EOP student, all applicants MUST attend the informational session and the personal interview, if requested.  Informational sessions are offered throughout the year.

Students accepted to Monroe Community College are not automatically accepted to EOP.  In addition, all applicants to EOP receive a letter of acceptance or denial upon review of all required documents.

All students are required to complete the EOP Supplemental Application for Admission Form, attend an information session, submit proof of income for the preceding tax year, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov and the Express Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Form at www.hesc.com.

If you need assistance, you may contact the EOP Office at 585-292-2028.

Deadlines for EOP Admissions:

Fall 2011: Friday, May 27, 2011

Spring 2012: December 9, 2011

Fall 2012:  May 25, 2012

Please note:  EOP Admissions deadline is subject to change contingent upon the number of  EOP applications received each semester.

Remember, there are a limited number of openings in EOP. Please start your application process early. Students who have completed all of the application steps will be the first considered for acceptance.
