The primary purpose of the MCC LEAD program is to foster student learning and personal development. With the creation of powerful learning environments, students are offered experiential learning opportunities that will allow them to apply knowledge obtained in the classroom, develop leadership skills and reflect on their learning experiences and desired outcomes. Through collaborative learning that is fused with activities, students are able to continuously improve themselves in response to evaluation and feedback. The Leadership Institute provides the curriculum for learning, and co-curricular programs provide the venue for educationally purposeful experiences.

A variety of experiences are offered through the LEAD program. These experiences include:

Credit Bearing Classes:

The Leadership Development Seminar (LDS 101-181) is being offered this Spring.

For more information, contact the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development or e-mail Mary Jane Starr at mstarr@monroecc.edu.

LEAD Certificate Program:

The Leadership Certificate program is designed to help you enhance and explore your leadership potential through a series of workshops, courses and community service opportunities.
